Present situation of Cuban economy After that for some years there were a big economic crisis, owing to the fall of Governments at Socialist regime, which Cuban economy was mainly founded on, at present there's a gradual and continual renewal of trade. As to face the hard loss of its habitual commercials partners, the Cuban Government is carrying out a resolute and articulated program of development, based on the home production's increase, above all on products bound to exportation, in place of importation with the home products' consumption, and it's helped quite a lot the growth of tourism, trade and foreign investment. Besides, Cuban Government as to attract and stimulate the foreign investments, on the fifth September 1995 approved a new and very important law (law 77/95), it realized free areas and industrial parks and, it signed trade agreements of mutual promotion and protection on the investments with Governments of many Country (Italy was the first Country to approve such agreement in May 1993). Certainly, Cuban economy becoming part of a global market, has obtained several advantages, offering great and different opportunity to the foreign operators who introduce technology, productivity and foreign capital.
